1. Website purpose
This website presents TEKA Export’ sourcing capabilities, procurement workflows and marketplace. It does not constitute a standing offer, product inventory, financial advice, legal advice or import authorization.
2. Catalogue and product information
Product pages describe categories TEKA may be able to source. Images may be representative. Exact make, model, condition, specification, origin, certification, warranty, availability, packing, price and delivery terms must be confirmed in a formal quotation.
3. Requests and quotations
Submitting an RFQ, enquiry, buyer profile or supplier application does not create a contract, purchase order, agency relationship, acceptance or delivery commitment. A transaction becomes binding only through documents accepted by authorized parties under the stated commercial terms.
4. Marketplace status
Research candidates, applicants and supplier profiles carry only the status shown in TEKA’s records. Verification is category- and evidence-specific, may be limited, and is not a guarantee of future performance. TEKA may approve, restrict, suspend or remove access where appropriate.
5. Buyer responsibilities
Buyers remain responsible for confirming their authority to purchase and import, destination licensing, foreign-currency arrangements, duties, taxes, local clearance and receiving capability unless a written TEKA quotation expressly assigns a defined responsibility elsewhere.
6. Supplier responsibilities
Suppliers must provide accurate identity, authority, capability, product, pricing, banking, compliance and shipment information. Material substitutions or changes require written approval before performance.
7. External information
Links and third-party information are provided for operational convenience. TEKA does not control third-party websites and does not adopt every external statement as its own.
8. Intellectual property and acceptable use
Website content, structure and TEKA branding may not be copied, misrepresented, scraped for unlawful use, used to impersonate TEKA or used to bypass platform controls. Users must not submit malicious code, false records or information they are not authorized to disclose.
9. Availability and liability
TEKA may change, suspend or correct website content and functionality. To the extent permitted by law, TEKA is not liable for decisions made solely from preliminary website information, third-party content or unauthorized use of the platform.
10. Governing framework
These website terms are governed by the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada, without limiting any mandatory law that applies to a specific user or transaction. Transaction-specific dispute terms, if any, are set out in the applicable accepted documents.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the TEKA contact page.
